Meet HR Systems

Jody brings many years of decision making and leadership to HR Systems. While her career has focused on the health care industry, she has been instrumental in the growth and development of HR Systems into a premier HR outsourcing and consulting company. Today Jody is a vital part of the company's direction especially in critical areas such as women-owned businesses and company growth into new markets.

Doug has over 29 years of comprehensive HR experience. In March of 2003 he launched HR Systems. Doug's desire has always been to assist businesses manage their workforce. HR Systems provides practical and effective workforce management solutions. The Company's focus is directed at small and mid-sized business along with medical practices throughout the country.
Working for major corporations such as Cummins Engine Company, Becton Dickinson, ConAgra, and Werner Enterprises, Doug gained valuable experience at all levels of the Human Resources discipline. Starting his career in the training and development areas, then quickly moved into employment and employee relations, labor management and finally business and HR development, Doug has the experience to assist any size business.
During his career with ConAgra, Doug was the Employment Manager for the highly successful Healthy Choice Brand and led the national recruitment effort to staff the Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Quality areas.
At Werner, Doug took a simple office administrative and management personnel function and built it into a highly functional and progressive HR Department servicing over 1,900 non-driver and 12,000 driver personnel.
Today Doug provides general guidance and direction for the business and the consultants on staff.

Les plays a major role in the day-to-day client management. He services many clients and provides strategic direction for the business. Les has acquired extensive experience in human resources resulting from serving as a major contributor in a variety of industries such as consulting, energy, publishing, banking, and human services. He has experience in human resources management as well as a generalist practitioner.
Specifically, he has acquired the following experience in corporate, mid-size business settings, and small business:

Carrie is a 2009 graduate from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She holds degrees in Finance, Banking and Human Resources. Carrie has been with HR Systems for over two years and worked as our HR Intern while attending school. Currently she serves as the company's Operations Manager and Consultant working with a few key clients on a variety of assignments including recruiting, job description development, policies and practices, and compensation studies. Carrie also coordinates the HRCI accredited Essential Courses and is a key person in communicating with all clients. Carrie is also responsible for HR Systems interaction with the Federal Government and maintaining our GSA status.

Lois has over 20 years of experience in the medical field. Starting with a nursing background, Lois furthered her education by obtaining a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Health Care Management as well as becoming a Certified Professional Coder (CPC). With her CPC, she became an auditor for proper E&M coding.
Lois has in depth practice management experience in a clinical setting. Her expertise is taking medical practices to a high level of success in all departments starting with educating Doctors, NP's, and PA's in proper charting, dictation, and coding to educating all staff on team work, cross training, and conflict resolution. Lois also has a strong background in training employees in OSHA and HIPAA.
Lois can provide a multitude of services to your practice to make it more successful, profitable, compliant, and harmonious.

Jessica is a full-time student at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She is a senior studying criminal justice. Jessica joined HR Systems in December of 2010 and is our administrative assistant. She helps with planning training programs, organizing events, and assisting the consultants on a daily basis.
